The location of the hotel was great! It was conveniently near the ferry terminal, making it easy for us to visit Smyletine and Nida. Plus, it was also close to the Old Town and the bar area, making our Friday night bar hopping a blast. We also loved walking along the river, it was such a pleasant experience. Additionally, the room was surprisingly comfortable and elegant, especially considering the price. The fully equipped kitchen and good bathroom were a nice bonus. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.
There was really nothing negative to say about our stay. Perhaps the mattress was not the newest, but that didn't bother us much.

The value for money at Simon-Dach-Haus was exceptional - the room was even better than the photos and very clean. The central location made it very convenient for sightseeing. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided interesting insights into the German history of the region and the city.
Hotel breakfast could be improved with a wider selection of dishes.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being close to the old town center and near the port. The rooms are tidy, spacious, and well, equipped with water heaters and microwave ovens. There are historic maps about the German history in the corridors, giving the place a unique museum, like feel.
There is no 24, hour reception, which can be a bit inconvenient arriving outside regular hours.
